Death.....

Just went to a close friend's younger brother funeral procession late yerterday nite.
Wat a sad day and atmosphere...haven't seen someone cried for a while now...seeing my friend reaction, I was feeling his grief!
His brother was only about 24! Died in a car accident yesterday morning.
Here I wish Him "Rest In Peace"

It was then I ponder about death and what happen in afterlife...do heaven/hell or afterlife even exist?
Are they myth or for real? we really wouldn't know until we're there!

When I feed my dog, I've always wondered that how it would be if I was to be "Him" for a day....to me, he's just so "Free" compared to me!
All he does is just enjoy the moment! eat, run around, bark at strangers, play, drinks, sleep, and make me happy, and enjoy his moments....
He knows when it's time to eat, time to go for a walk...time to shit & piss. It's a routine for him....
We human have alot more goin on in life! Whether it's for the better or worse...I guess we'll never know until....we die, maybe?

Sometimes, I wish that I could be as free as my dog, free from the strong responsibility, work, debts, free from chasing the things in life.....house, car, relationships, money etc & etc...

....society shape me into what I'm today or do I shape myself into what I'm? I dunno. Is it fated or can it be changed? I dunno.

Would I be contented? Am I happy? Would I be proud of what i've achieved thus far? Did I have a good life? if today is the last day of my life? Maybe? I really don't know....but one thing for sure is that DEBTs that I have with the banks.

A tribute to my thong slipper...

Was coming back into the house yesterday and saw my slipper......and it made me think!

I bought it in Carrefour for RM1.50 ( about USD 40cents) and it has been with me for more that a year! Been with me to Phuket & Bangkok and most of my outdoor trips as well as daily wears.

And I would like to pay a tribute to being a reliable and good protector of my feet!
And who says that cheap things aint good!

Rate it as my best ever buy! cheap, good & reliable! And it's made from recycle materials as well!!

Got to know this place because of an Heineken event.

Laundry Bar......after my b'day

Just recently found time to post some of the photo taken from my b'day nite.
Went to this place in The Curve...called Laundry bar (god knows where they got the name from!!)
It's kinda a nice place for chill out....bands plays on weekends.... when we've there, there is a jazz band playing. kinda nice and I heard a cameo from the Malaysian Jamie Cullum aka Sharizan...

Wild Betel leaves with dried shrimp, shallot, toasted coconut, lime, chili, peanut served with a sweet sauce – an interesting do-it-yourself starter.

Found this place in Starhill.....kinda cool place to have dinner ...or lunch...or a few drinks....Had this as starter with fried rice as main course.
Price is on the high side lah.....but still acceptable.

Bali.....here I come

Been waiting for a while for this trip......needed some rest and time to ponder about life and get away for a while.... to look into other people's culture and surroundings.
Got the ticket book via Air Asia in April this year! so was kinda cheap then. Will be staying near Kuta area.
I've added a few pictures from the hotel website (www.theoasis.info). hopes it's as good (in reality). Will review it once i've completed the trip...


This is my first time to Bali..so really excited to see the place & the culture....& the food! no doubt that it was a spot for terrorist bombing recently and also recent earthquake that happen in yoryakarta as well as the island of Java...the thought of it sometimes scares me!
but heck! am goin anyway....
